Join the 6th annual
Central Oregon Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge
Extended through December 31, 2023
Take the Challenge
THE CENTRAL OREGON SIX-PACK OF PEAKS CHALLENGE is a self-guided hiking challenge that takes you up six iconic peaks in beautiful Central Oregon.
Explore new mountains, test your limits, and level up your outdoor experience. Expand the boundaries of what you are capable of, all while helping support outdoor non-profits.
Complete the hikes in six months, six weeks or six days. You set the schedule that works best for you. The hikes start easier and work up to longer and more challenging climbs.
The mountains begin lower with Sutton Mountain near Mitchell and the Painted Hills, graduating to longer more challenging peaks, culminating with the 10,363′ South Sister — the third highest mountain in Oregon.
There are eight peaks to choose from — pick any six to complete the challenge or hike them all.
Registration begins at $50. Learn what's included with registration.
